![]() ![]() The increased reliability it offers is particularly relevant if you need to find the right combination of cards each turn to get your engine going, such as a village and terminal draw, or Encampment and Plunder. ![]() Forum is particularly useful in Kingdoms in which other deck control tools (in the form of thinning and perhaps draw) are weak or lacking, or in the early midgame before you are able to attain deck control. However, at, it often has a significant opportunity cost, and so it’s common to want to add it after higher priority cards such as a trasher. This means it offers a strong boost to your deck’s reliability, and makes it a very useful support card. Getting +1 Buy happens when you buy or otherwise gain this.įorum is a handsize-neutral and non-terminal sifter that offers effective cycling through your deck towards the cards you most want to find.Since 2022, Forum's +Buy bonus' trigger is changing from "when you buy" to "when you gain". For example, with and only one Buy, you could buy a Forum, getting +1 Buy, then buy a Province.4.2 Connection between top and bottom abilities. And Inno seems to be on a path of making each Event building better than the last, so who knows where that will end up. If you can get 10 FP guaranteed every day (barring Plundering of course) from an Event building that takes up the same space of two un-shrunk WW, well then the Event building is far better. Now, all that said, I don t think they are >as< good as they were several years ago because other building choices, usually those won in Events, have somewhat dulled their appeal. Yes, they do take up a fair bit of space, though that can be reduced by using a WW Shrink Kit (takes it from 3x3 to 3x2). They can also give 2FP (and do so fairly often), and 'free' goods, Medals, coins and supplies are not bad either (particularly if you're close to finishing a quest that requires collection of so many of one of those and your collection from the WW puts you over the top). Wishing Wells are, in my opinion, generally "worth it" because they do have a chance (albeit, as Algona pointed out, a very small one) of yielding Diamonds. I find myself in agreement with Agent327- and yes, I find that vaguely disquieting. ![]()
